Bike Stolen; Thanksgiving Day

Yes! The back wheel of my bike was stolen. Just earlier I saw a female watch me lock the bike onto a fence. That should have signal an alarm to move the bike to a safe place. I realized this after I came from the shopping center to search for a bike rack to install on my roof. I was not surprise though. Crime has increased in this area tenfold.

Because the bike had gear problems, I was going to trade it in for parts. This would have consisted of an entire bike, but now short of a back wheel. I’m not happy, but I’m not really upset, because just earlier I fell on my head. The weight of my bag did not help and the lack of a clearing zone which made manners worse. But most of all! I was trying to get to lunch; looking at a vendors coat display at the same time. I’ve been needing a coat for some time and that lead to the distraction.

Other than that, I’m ok. I expect to get a new bike soon. Hopefully I don’t break an arm and a leg doing it.

Thanksgiving was considered a good day for me. I was entertained to a variety of different servings and I had more than my share of helpings. It even went as far as me getting a few pieces of clothing to add to my wardrobe.

Anyway, I’m satisfied with what is happening, except the rain. Since I have decommissioned my shopping cart, I realized it takes me a lot longer to prepare for an emergency.

I don’t think I will be using the same sleeping arraignment. It just opens me to a lot of unnecessary headaches.

Other than that, I should be in a better position next week. Please wish me good luck.

Cheers.

Chris
