Pocket PC

Things are looking better, but I still haven’t figured out what type of Pocket PC I want to purchase. I’m trying to stay within budget, however, the better ones are more expensive and are recent editions. What this means is that the technology is close to what is currently available today.

The reason why I’m putting so much emphasis on purchasing a Pocket PC, is because it will allow me to pick up more wifi signals without draining my car battery.

Because of cost and convenience, most time my car is stationary. What this means is that I’m not running my gas out my vehicle, which can be pretty costly. Unfortunately, this translates to an inoperable car battery and an emergency jump start.

I had to pay two people to crank my car until I realize that charging my computer isn’t going to work (I nearly lost my labtop due to a power surge and I smell an unsual odor in my vehicle that seems to indicate that if I did not disconnect my labtop, my vehicle would have caught on fire). So this brings me back to the idea of purchasing a pocket PCs.

There are other advantages besides the fact that it won’t drain my battery. It will also allow me to move around a bit better.  But most of all, it will allow me to make phone calls and receive constant weather/financial and news alerts.

The Pocket PC should compliment my labtop, not replace it. Because I still need to code webpages and marketing material.

But it will be a costly proposition indeed; AND A NECESSARY ONE AT THAT!

Other issues include security. I have been faced with a lot of hackers in the city of FAYETTEVILLE NC (more later), so security is my second name. There will be  multiple BULLETPROOF security features included so that I can run my business both effectively and sufficiently.

There is no mokeying around with this issue. IT HAS TO BE DONE RIGHT! OR NOT AT ALL!!! PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!

Staying In Fayetteville

It’s really funny… before I left for my trip to New York, Greyhound called the police stating that homeless people were congrugating in the bathroom. To my surpise, Officer Randall was one of the police officers who arrived. It was six of them! This is the kind of policing that happens in Fayetteville. Instead of targeting the drug dealers, they target the homeless.

Anyway, I was immediate request to prove that I was taking a bus out of town by this negro officer. And can you believe that he was very upset that I was coming back???

Well… he nearly ran out of the bus station when I told him this is a lawyers paradise.

What’s also funny is that I slept for three hours on Port Authority floors and not one officer said anything to me.

The officers in Fayetteville just have too much time on their hands. And this over policing is just a front for them covering up some thing else. I know what it is, it isn’t wise to discuss it right now.

With that said, the church in Fayetteville is opened to me for my internet activities. I have put together some of their computers and plan to update certain sections of their websites.

Hopefully I can incorporate some of my projects within their concept. But it will take some time to get them to understand this new concept.

Anyhow, I have decided to discontinue my plans to go to Raleigh.

Until next time.

New York

I took the bus out of Fayetteville around 10:30 PM and arrived in New York 10:30 AM the next morning. It was a long and enduring ride, but I sufficed. I got my business taken care of as planned and am satisfied with the results.

I left New York at 8:30 PM and arrived in Fayetteville at 8:30 AM. Then I picked up my car and closed my Fayetteville storage room out.

In NY, I reduce the size of my storage room. So now I’m paying $55 vs. the $106 I was paying earlier. I paid 6 months. At the last minute, due to the reduce size of the new storage room, I had to get rid of some furniture; a table and a cabinet I used for my radio equipment. It would have cost me a $100 for the garbage man to pick up, but the storage room manager picked it up for nothing.

I’m down to mostly boxes.

I had to file some papers with the state. It was done without very little hesitation. The staff was so helpful.

Again. I’m satisfied with the results of the trip.
